I like Tim Burton. I love dark and light things, all things. But Life.. scares me. It's big yeah, but essentially, it's Bigger Than Me, bigger than I can hold and I am either riding its back or under its weight, depending on the day. This pic to me, says what I feel about the whole damn nut so far.

I love ceramics. I took a class over a year ago and still have the mud bug. I also have a weird passion bordering closely on obsession about The Universe and Big Questions. This plate was hand built and made as a replica of a pre-historic native american design I found a copy of. It is the depiction of the night sky found on a bowl from thousands of years ago, made by a potter who thought thoughts like I do, who played with clay and who obviously, loved to think. The three bars on the side was the tribe's attempt to depict everlasting life.
