Unsuspecting Kevin was also caught unawares in the Ikea, but this time by Mr. Green Snake. I got him loose but never captured the snake.
Hate to say it, but Kev took off through linens, screaming like a scaredy cat.

This is the mansion originally owned by Rita Hayworth and Orsen Wells. It is nestled in the Laurel Canyon Hills and sits on 6 acres of land that winds up into the mountain. Absolutely fantastic. We were looking at a guest house on the property to rent for 2400.00 dollars. Even the gate leading to the front door was impressive! It felt great to be in the hidden hills and I imagined all the stars that walked around the complex and even stayed in the guest house we were viewing. Viva Hollywood.

This is the guest house for rent on the mansion's estate....there is no ground underneath AT ALL. The front door is anchored to earth and that is it. No central heat, a mini stove but guys- beautiful. The kicker, the actress that lives in the mansion sometimes throws parties and parking is a problem. Since the main reason we are moving to LA is to be closer to friends...it just won't work. We throw parties too! But golly! What a view this place had.

Kev and I hunted once again for a house in LA this weekend- we have decided the Canyons are for us. We wound our way up several this weekend, Laurel and Topanga. Here is a view of the San Fernando Valley from a succulent plant patch high atop a one of the mountains.

Amy, Justin, Kev and I thought bowling on Sunday sounded like the fo-shizzle. However- if you are planning to bowl at The Lucky Strikes in Hollywood make rezes. We was hoodwinked...4 hour wait! So we hit the pool table instead.
Amy SAID she was an alright player.. Sheesh, good thing we didn't play with cashola. She actually hopped a ball to pocket another! Here is the sexy lady doin' a behind the back shot.

After pool, we decided to chow at the very delicious Pig and Whistle in Hollywood. The oven roasted chicken on a mountain of mashed potatoes was dee-lish, but Justin also enjoyed his BBQ ribs and my grilled veggie platter leftovers didn't make it to the fridge.

Today we received a gift of Italian cookies from my father and Nan in the mail. I called my father to say hi and left the room along with Kev. I walked back into the kitchen to find guess who impatiently peturbed, sitting ON THE TABLE, annoyed that we forgot to give him some to try!!!! Love button! I could just SQUEEZE him!
