Time for someone to hit the hay in his own bed. His jammies are an old t-shirt of mine that rainbows "California", his home state and now ours. Night-night! Oh! SO squeezable!

Um, Have we forgotten someone?
Today we received a gift of Italian cookies from my father and Nan in the mail. I called my father to say hi and left the room along with Kev. I walked back into the kitchen to find guess who impatiently peturbed, sitting ON THE TABLE, annoyed that we forgot to give him some to try!!!! Love button! I could just SQUEEZE him!
monkey
Someone took this photo of me at work eating my lunch and sent it to Kev. Damn, I'm just too cute!
A busterfull Christmas
Christmas was a winger of a day. Got lots of cool gifts, but the best for us was in the giving to Buster Sir. Here he is devouring the wrapping paper to get to the goods. He was fantastic to watch.

Kevin and me on Christmas Eve
For Christmas Eve we went out with our friends, Amy and Justin to a fantastic restaurant in West LA called Luna Park. If you are in the LA area, go! It was swank, the food was amazing, I mean excellent. I had a brussel sprout, sweet potato compote underneath my grilled chicken that was no less than scrumptous!!! Best meal in a long time I have had! And my drink, Fizz the Season, delish!!!
Amy and Justin on Christmas Eve
This is Amy and Justin! You can see the cozy tea pots the restaurant served individually after dinner. It was a swank cool restaurant! Merry Christmas!
Me and my baby snoop-snoop
For Christmas eve, Kev wanted to take a hike. This is me and my lamb snout on the trail...he wanted to get the hell up that hill and into the bushes!
And yes, okay...even hiking I am in high fashion...love, LOVE those glasses!

The Jules and me through cyber space
That's me talking to Big Mom and Cathleen through space on the trail via the cell phone. They were cooking in their kitchen, getting ready for a big dinner in their cozy CT home. I felt like I was there for just a moment before heading back down the hill.
Christmas Eve in 85 degrees
By the time I reached the top, I was relaxed, hot and sweaty. 85 degrees and absolutely filled with sunshine. I couldn't get over such a warm Christmas!
Kevin and Buster on a hike
It was a steep climb up the mountain behind our home. Here is Kev a little down the path to try and show perspective. It was a nice, warm day. Buster was sniffing everything!

didisayitwascold
For Thanksgiving this year, Kev and I flew home for the holidays to our family in CT. I had a wonderful time and was so bummed when it was time to go. The Colligans know how to have a good laugh.
But, an understatement would be to say the east coast is chilly. DAMN people, it is COLD. I got caught here by Kev, under the covers with my coat and gloves trying to get warm.
On the Ipod?
A country tune....about L.A. !!
I was trying to think warm and baby step it to when I would be in 70 degrees again.
But we had a great time anyway.

Kev and I at the beach right before sunset. It looks cold and I guess it was, but I was strangely warm that day. We picked up shells for eachother and walked on the sand. Kev was freezing but he wasn't all the way zipped, too Kool. Me? hat, gloves, scarf, layers, you name it I wore it. If I had long underwear it would have been on. It was a good idea to run the pups around and it felt great to be outside for awhile.
perfect
Everyone at the cold, cold beach. Lovebirds in the foreground, Jules and Kev coming up from the sand.
charliesleepin
Here is Mr. Charlie, Cathleen's dog. He is a loveable, wonderful chocolate lab who is so ....loveable! He lets you squeeze and hug anytime you want.
thekids
Here is my extended family! Big brother in law Pat, Little sister in law, Cathleeeen!, and my husband, the wonderful Mr. Kebby. Ooh! I love him.
sisterinlaws
Here is Cath and myself in the woods. It was a lovely hike with the dogs, and it wasn't that cold. But I tell you this, that damn hat was the best purchase I made for CT!! Cath loves to hike with her Ray and the dogs do too.
punker
And while getting our picture taken, guess whose mischievous side came out...Big Mom sprayed the water bottle we carried for Charlie right on us! Here is Cathleen, wrestling the Jules.
Why the water bottle?
Well, you don't watch the Dog Whisperer then, now do you?!

missycocopupswet
Even though it was cold, Missy Cocopups was thrilled to dive and bounce Tigger fashion in every wet, freezing pool of water in the woods. She's so pretty.
kikiandcathhouse
We stayed in Cathleen's huge house, which is so awesome. It is a BIG house and was built in the 1800's. If it wasn't so damn cold I would move there. (Not Cathleen's house, CT.) The floorboards creak when people get up for work and you can smell Ray's coffee from the first floor to the second clear as a bell. (Good Coffee.) The bay window is where Charlie watches outside. I love it, a real family home.
ilikepizzatoo
While in CT, I had Pizza! Real pizza not Papa John's yuchy stuff. It was delish...Charlie wanted some. HE IS SUCH A LOVE! But Ray-Ray is holding strong.
dominocheater
Big Mom loves Dominoes...But is known to be a bit "handy" with the dominoes themselves. Here Cathleen is wrestling her mother for cheating. Playing with the Jules is HILARIOUS. Unless you are Ray-Ray. Then, you are mercilessly teased.
cantuseewereexhausted
After five days I had not had enough. I had a GREAT time with everyone and was bummed to know the next day we had to start the journey home. The pups on the other hand looked like all the commotion had plum wore them out!
areshellsedible
When we finally got home 6 pm pacific after leaving Connecticut at 7am Eastern, I dropped on the floor.....which I found was chewed and mutilated by Buster. (There was an inch thick pile of rug padding strewn across the hallway. Lovely.) I half unpacked and left seashells Cathleen had placed in plastic on the bed. Guess who I caught trying to eat them??? Hilarious.

new do
Ode to my new hair
Livin LA
Want flash hair
and bold flavor.
Purple hues and bright yellow stripes
that vibrate
my sexy dark hair.
Venice in the background
tatooed boardwalk
the sun zippin' by me
on two wheeled rollerblades with stickers that shout
viva Mexico!
Drums beat with low hummed rhythm
my feet step along.
I've come alive
woken up
standing.
You can see it
in my hair.

7 year anniversary
Here we are at our neighborhood Italian, The Rustico, on our seventh anniversary. Dinner was dee-lish but for all that know me, yes, the subject came up (and that is a lot) for growing our own sticky monkey. (Code for human baby.) Gosh, just talk is making me queasy. I just got to 21 percent body fat! Why can't men carry the watermelon??? LOL

New wheels
Dude and dudettes, we got ourselves new wheels! Volvo C 70 convertible is a sweet, swank ride. We have already done the tour of LA proper with the top down and feelin' fine cruisin' right along the rest of the fine people in LA up the PCH. Seriously, we had no idea we would end up with this machine...we had set out to get a Mini Cooper! Guess we kinda deviated off the path...

busta
Dudes, this lil pup is usually, growling, pouncing, catching (a ball) begging for snacks, walking, and being a general alarm system. But he is SO damn irresistable when he snores on his back!!!
MMM-hmmm! I gotta squeeze the baby!

Bangs plus a sola mia tri
Okay, I got bangs. Whoop-ee! But more than that, I DID my 1st annual la sola mia mini triatholon today. 1 mile swim, 13 mile bike, three mile run, in under two hours. (Okay, like 1 hour 59 minutes.) I did the Great Race backward because I didn't want to be running and biking in chlorine wet (The only body of water I have is the greenish-blue 24 hour pool.) On my last lap in the wa-wa, I was like whoo-hoo baby! It took 50 minutes to lap the mile, 33 to hustle the run, and 34 to bike. I've been both unfit, healthy, and now athletic and by far, strength and vigor is the best feeling yet!

Birthday Boy dinner
For Kevin's birthday, we went to Cambria, CA, a favorite spot for the two of us. We went there first on our honeymoon and have vacationed there for get-a-way weekends when we need to unwind since. Kevin had a great birthday celebration weekend and we really enjoyed ourselves. Here we are at our favorite restaurant, although I had only gotten as far as the butter when we had our photo taken!
Sweet
While we were there, we spent a lot of time at the beach or in the hotel. Or eating. Or riding the new bikes we bought for his birthday. This is us, snuggled down in the dunes.
Kevin
Cambria is windy and we bought fleeces and sweatshirts so that we could walk on the beach toward sunset. Here is Kev balancing on the large driftwood there, the waves crashing in.
We got fire, baby
So we had reservations, but the hotel double booked. So we got a suite instead! The fire was SO nice on a cold day, the bed was warm, and it was just a fantastic time.
I'm happy and sassy on holiday
Cambria is a wonderful, magical romantic place for us. I am always so happy there. It was so nice to be cold! (Home was 100 degrees!)
Feed Me
While Kevin and I were on vacation in beautiful, serene Cambria, CA, somehow I was mistaken as wildlife.
